Service Electrician

Gisborne

Our amazing Gisborne Technician is retiring and leaves massive shoes to fill.  If you are an electrician who can turn their hand to a wide range of tasks including electrical, mechanical and electronic repairs and servicing, then this could be the role for you!

As the sole technician in the region you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers.  The ability to work autonomously is essential, with support  provided from Napier and Palmerston North 

The work is varied and spans both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs to fuel pumps, fuel delivery systems, stand alone controls and carwashes.  In addition we carry out electronic repairs and installation for point of sale equipment, including POS and BOS systems.

What we need from you:

• Hold a current NZ Electrical Practicing Licence with hands on electrical experience
• Have a mechanical background, and not be afraid to get your hands dirty
• Have advanced trouble shooting and problem solving skills 
• Experience in the fuels industry would be ideal, but full training will be provided
• Hold a Full NZ Drivers Licence
• Have great customer service skills and enjoy exceeding customer expectations
• Be proactive, independent and use good judgement
• To have a working style that promotes a safe working environment
• To be fit and healthy and able to complete our pre employment medical and drug screening
