Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Resort Winter Operations Team Leader to be responsible for coordinating & supervising the daily operations. This hands on role will provide leadership & direction to ensure effective daily tasks are completed & the team are engaged & motivated.
The Assets & Operations team at ARV is integral to the streamlined and efficient operation of our alpine resorts. This group provides essential support functions including asset management, maintenance, and operational delivery, ensuring that each resort operates smoothly and effectively. The team works collaboratively to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with ARVʼs strategic objectives, supporting sustainable development and the long-term resilience of resort assets.
The Resort Winter Operations Team Leader will report to the Resort Operations Supervisor.
What amazing skills and experience will score you this role?
- Coordinate and execute daily operations & maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently & in accordance with ARV policies and procedures
- Coordinate water, wastewater & power operations under the direction of the Resort Operations Supervisor
- Lead & support team members in the delivery of maintenance & snow operations activities including snow clearing, grooming and snow making, provide guidance to ensure standards are met
- Monitor & maintain compliance with relevant legislation & ARV standards for all assets, facilities, operations & maintenance activities
- Promote a culture of safety, inclusion & continuous improvement within the team and undertake tasks reasonably directed by management
The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred) with medium rigid endorsement
- Valid Front End Loader (FEL) & Excavator tickets preferred
- Previous experience working in alpine areas preferred
- Experience in a team leadership role
- Ability to problem solve & apply sound judgement to resolve operational issues & improve service delivery
- Can build trust & work collaboratively across different teams

Hourly pay rate: $50.05 - $55.41 + super and other staff benefits
