The opportunity
The Retail and Rental team delivers essential visitor services including equipment hire, clothing and merchandise sales, and onsite visitor support. These services play a critical role in visitor safety, satisfaction and overall resort experience. The Visitor Experience Supervisor ensures the team operates effectively, consistently and in line with operational standards and business requirements.
The Visitor Experience Supervisor (Retail and Rental) is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of retail and equipment rental services to ensure a high-quality, safe and efficient experience for visitors. Working under general direction, the role provides on-site supervision of retail and rental staff, coordinates daily workflows, oversees stock control and POS processes, and ensures service delivery aligns with ARV standards. The role contributes to positive visitor experiences, commercial performance and compliance within a busy alpine resort environment.

- Supervise daily retail and rental operations to ensure efficient workflows, service consistency and a positive visitor experience.
- Lead, roster and support retail and rental staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Ensure accurate operation of point‑of‑sale systems, cash handling and end‑of‑day reconciliation processes.
- Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety, including ensuring appropriate use of equipment and PPE
- Ensure compliance with ARV policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will be required to: - Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type
- Have an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred)
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff in a retail, rental or customer‑facing environment
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
- Experience coordinating rosters and supervising casual staff

Location: Lake Mountain, Victoria.
Hourly pay rate: $40.04- $44.33+ casual loading (rate determined by skills, qualifications, and experience)
