PeopleHQ is pleased to be partnering with BOP Plumbing & Gas to find an organised, friendly Branch Administrator to be the face of their Kawerau branch.

BOP Plumbing & Gas is a family-owned plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying business that has served the Bay of Plenty for over 30 years from its branches in Rotorua, Kawerau and Te Puke. Their work ranges from domestic and commercial maintenance through to new builds, renovations, gas installations, heat pumps and woodfires. The business prides itself on quality and service, and looks for people who feel the same.

This is a varied role in which you will work independently day to day, with the support of the wider team behind you. You will:

• Manage one of the company's key maintenance contracts from start to finish, including quoting, tracking jobs through to completion, and invoicing
• Be the first point of contact for walk-in customers and the branch email inboxes
• Load job requests and support the scheduling team with your local knowledge
• Prepare the daily banking summary and process over-the-counter payments
• Look after branch stock, deliveries, mail and the general running of the office
• Complete the branch's weekly health and safety workshop check

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence using a computer and the ability to learn new systems quickly (experience with simPRO is a bonus but not essential)
• A high level of attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• The confidence to work on your own and use your initiative

Experience in the trades, construction, quoting or invoicing would be an advantage.
