About the role:
We have a vacancy for a Mower Operator in the Southland District. Responsibilities include ride on mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant and some basic gardening / weed spraying.

 About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Ideally would have experience on ride on mowers or machinery in a contract environment.
• Wheels endorsement would be advantageous, but training can be provided for successful applicant:
• Experience with weed trimmers and other small plant.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Dedication to complete every job to a high standard as per contract requirements.
• Constantly focused on safety and courteous to the general public.
• A strong work ethic and can be relied upon to deliver outcomes unsupervised.
• Flexibility with hours to meet operational requirements.
• Able to plan and prioritise to achieve planned outcomes
• Able to work well with others, contribute to the wider team goals and can communicate effectively.
