Delta is recruiting for an Electrical Fitter with excellent problem-solving skills to join our network distribution maintenance team in Cromwell.  Reporting to the Team Leader, this role involves performing installation, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, testing and commissioning on a wide range of Electricity Supply Industry Plant including control equipment and instrumentation.

• Exhibits tidy and methodical work practices.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attendance and Health and Safety record. 

What you need to succeed:

• Qualified Electrician with full Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Registration and current Practicing License
• Full Class 1 New Zealand driver’s license.
• HV experience, ideally in the electricity distribution industry.

About the role:

• This is a full-time, permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Overtime is paid after 40 hours at a rate of time and a half
• The wage range for this role is $36-$45/hour (gross) - commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
• This role is primarily based in Cromwell, Central Otago, South Island of New Zealand.
