The role:
We are looking for someone who shares our teams enthusiasm for doing a job well done. Primarily based in Christchurch you could be working anywhere from the beautiful Hurunui District to sharing the scenic views of Mt Cook in Twizel and anywhere in between.

As a Vegetation Control Operator, the role is made up substantially ornamental mowing using a walker mower. Other duties could include spraying, weed eating or trimming trees.

Full class 1 license essential with the ability to drive a manual.
Full training given but preference given to those that hold a Grow safe or Traffic management Qualification.

What you need to succeed:

• Hands on experience and a good understanding of environmental laboring (machinery operation, spraying, mowing equipment, and vegetation control);
• Understands and adheres to Health & Safety guidelines and best practice;
• Enjoys working outside in all weather;
• Must be physically fit and able;
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude;
• A current and clean Driver’s license class 1;
• TC/ STMS desirable
• A proven record of being a team player with experience supervising small teams
