We are looking for a highly capable Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a key role supporting the Chief Financial Officer and contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial, systems, and assurance outcomes across the business.
About the role
As Senior Accountant, you will play an integral role in maintaining the integrity of our financial information and strengthening our control environment. You'll work closely with finance and operational teams, while also engaging with external auditors and advisors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading financial accounting and statutory reporting, including annual and interim reporting
- Managing and supporting the external audit process
- Contributing to a strong internal control and assurance environment
- Supporting internal audit, risk, and compliance activities
- Providing financial insight and analysis to support decision-making
- Working across the business to improve financial systems, processes, and data quality
- Contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About you You are a technically strong and commercially aware accountant who enjoys working across both financial reporting and systems. You will bring:
- A CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
- Strong experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Exposure to audit, assurance, or risk frameworks
- Experience with financial systems and process improvement
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- The ability to build effective relationships across a business
You'll also have a
continuous improvement mindset, a high level of integrity, and the confidence to challenge the status quo constructively. While not essential, experience in a contracting environment would be an advantage.
