Delta is a smart thinking infrastructure specialist. We construct, manage, and maintain electricity supply and environmental infrastructure. Every day we make a difference in the lives of New Zealanders. We make communities better for people to live, work and play in - keeping the lights on, the trees trimmed and the parks green.
You’ll join a close-knit local team that takes pride in doing quality work and looking out for each other. We value teamwork, reliability and a strong safety mindset—because everyone’s contribution matters to getting the job done right. If you want steady work with a supportive crew and clear expectations, this could be a great fit.
As our Pole Inspector, you’ll carry out scheduled and ad-hoc inspections and testing of overhead assets to support safe, reliable power and communications networks. You’ll assess pole structures using the relevant methods and systems, complete detailed reports on a tablet, and share clear condition feedback with the client’s Asset Team. This is a practical, field-based role where quality, accuracy and safety are everything.
You’ll be a safety-first, self-managing operator who enjoys working independently and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. You’re comfortable with hands-on mechanical work, can communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders, and you’re confident using digital tools to record and manage inspection data. If you like a role that mixes fieldwork, problem-solving and responsibility, we’d like to hear from you.
