Delta Utilities is seeking to appoint a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the delivery of distribution pole packs, reconductoring, ground mounted equipment upgrades, and Customer Initiated Works (CIW) works across Central Otago to support growth within the Region. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and within budget, exceeding customer expectations.
Your Role
As Project Manager, you will take charge of end-to-end project planning and execution, focusing on safety, quality, timeliness, and budget. Your responsibilities will include managing project teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards. You'll also oversee contract management, ensuring profitability targets are met while maintaining strong client relationships and achieving seamless project delivery.
- This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000/annum (gross)
- This role is based in Cromwell, Central Otago, South Island of New Zealand.
What you need to succeed - A Bachelor’s or higher in Project Management or relevant to the electrical field OR Bachelor’s Degree in any field and at least 2+ years' relevant Electricity Distribution Industry experience.
- Current full New Zealand Class 1 driver's license or international equivalent.
- Experience managing budgets, risk and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and relate to people at all levels.
- Proven ability to write professional documents.
