The Role
As a Power Technician, you will work across electricity distribution primary and secondary systems, delivering installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing and commissioning services across the Otago region. The role involves high‑voltage switching and permitting, cable fault location and testing, SCADA and protection work, and responding to faults as part of an after‑hours standby roster. You’ll work closely with Team Leaders, Project Managers and fellow technicians, contributing to safe, efficient and high‑quality outcomes for customers and the wider community.
