Delta is your smart thinking infrastructure specialist. We construct, manage and maintain essential energy and environmental infrastructure. Every day we make a difference in the lives of New Zealanders. We make communities better for people to live, work and play in - keeping the lights on, the trees trimmed and the parks green.
Join our Power and Communication Services team in one of New Zealand’s most stunning locations in New Zealand! We’re looking for an experienced Line Mechanic who enjoys variety, thrives in the outdoors, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor others while contributing to the reliable supply of electricity to the region.
You’ll be hands-on with construction and maintenance of overhead distribution networks, including live and de-energised work, HV switching, and fault response. From stringing lines by helicopter to operating truck-mounted cranes and elevated work platforms, no two days are the same. You’ll also be part of an after-hours roster, ensuring our communities are kept connected when it matters most.
We’re after a team player who leads by example, communicates clearly, and keeps safety at the heart of everything they do. In return, you’ll join a supportive crew, gain ongoing development, and be backed by a company committed to continuous improvement and excellence.
