About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the primary point of contact for Delta’s customers, clients, field staff, and contractors. This is a vital coordination role that ensures metering work is planned, delivered, and completed safely, accurately, and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
You’ll play a key part in translating technical metering requirements into well‑scoped jobs, scheduling and briefing electricians and contractors, and verifying completion data to maintain accurate and auditable records. Through proactive communication and efficient issue resolution, you’ll contribute to a positive customer experience while upholding Delta’s strong commitment to safety and service excellence.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience
- Experience in customer service, utilities operations, scheduling, or a technical service environment
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- The ability to manage workloads to meet deadlines, KPIs, and SLAs
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including customers, field teams, and contractors
- A strong commitment to health and safety and adherence to policies and procedures
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and resilient when handling challenging situations
Desirable but not essential: - Experience in NZ electricity sector
- Familiarity with Safety Regulations and NZECPs and audit exposure
- At least 3 years' experience in a service desk support role.
More About the role: - This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
