Delta Tree Services is inviting expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Arborists for a specialised Liaison Arborist role commencing July 2026.

About the Role
As a Liaison Arborist, you’ll play a critical role in connecting our operational teams, clients, and community stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and planning works across Utility, Council, and Commercial environments
- Negotiating access and communicating project requirements with landowners and stakeholders
- Supporting, training, and managing apprentices within the arboriculture team
- Developing tree protection plans and ensuring compliance with best‑practice standards
- Providing technical expertise to support safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations
What you need to succeed - Level 4 Certificate in Arboriculture (NZQA or equivalent)
- Class 1 Driver Licence
- A minimum 4 years of professional arboriculture experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence dealing with clients, landowners, and internal teams
- Ability to plan, problem‑solve, and prioritise effectively
Desirable - Class 2 or 4 Driver Licence
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience coaching or mentoring staff
- Experience in Utility Arboriculture
