About the role:

Delta Utility Services is looking for a skilled and qualified Arborist to join our Christchurch Trees team. To be considered, you must hold an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Arboriculture (or an equivalent qualification) and have a full driver licence.

This position includes utility arboriculture work, so applicants should already hold or be prepared to work towards a Level 3 Certificate in Utility Arboriculture. It would also be advantageous to have a Class 2 licence and a current Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) qualification.
 


What you need to Succeed:

• Previous experience/training desirable
• Level 4 Arborist and Level 3 Utility Arborist qualification or equivalent or working towards
• A demonstrated Health & Safety focused, ensuring own and others' safety at all times
• Able to work alone or as part of a team
• Good geographical knowledge of the region
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Flexible and reliable
• You will also need a full clean Class 1 driver's license (Class 2 preferred).
