The role:

Reporting to the Customer Initiated Works Manager, you will have responsibility for looking after your own patch and liaise directly with electrical contractors, customers and regulatory agencies.
The position involves a range of residential and commercial work including inspecting the safety of changes and alterations as well as new installations with authority to enliven new connections.
About you:
We're seeking a proactive Electrical Inspector with exceptional customer service skills, adept problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. This role demands independent work capability, effective communication, and organisational proficiency, coupled with a proven track record in attendance, health and safety, and staying updated on regulatory changes.
What you need to succeed:
Essential:
- Registration as an Electrical Inspector with a current Practicing License.
- Full Class 1 NZ driver's license.
- Extensive knowledge of Electrical Regulations and Codes of Practice.
- 5+ years' relevant industry experience.
Desirable: - Hold the following Endorsements: Hazardous Areas, Medical Cardiac Protected Areas and Mains Parallel Generation Systems.
- Experience with PV installation inspections.
- Experience with HV installation inspections.
- Experience working on the Aurora network.
