We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Turf Manager to join our team here in Alexandra, Central Otago. If you're physically fit, organised, and passionate about delivering exceptional playing surfaces, this could be the perfect role for you. Ideal candidates will already live locally or be enthusiastic about relocating to our region.

The successful candidate will display tidy, planned, and methodical work practices, along with a strong focus on delivering high-quality playing surfaces and exceptional customer service. You’ll help motivate and support our team while ensuring safety is at the forefront of all work undertaken.
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed, and ready to bring their expertise to our team.

What you need to succeed

• Proven experience managing national and international sports space including deep knowledge of cricket pitch preparation and sportsground maintenance
• Proficiency operating a wide range of turf management equipment
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and a commitment to safe working practices
• A willingness to work outdoors in all weather to meet operational deadlines
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Level 4 Turf Management Qualification (essential)
• A current, clean driver’s licence
