We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced full-time Storesperson based at our Alexandra site.
You will be working as part of a cohesive team to maintain a dedicated store that holds the required stock essential for the efficient delivery of our business. Core tasks within this role will be receiving inwards goods, classifying and storing the product, preparing goods for distribution, stock taking and assisting contracting crews with their daily supply needs. All products are maintained within our stock management system, so your level of computer literacy, accuracy and attention to detail is vital.
We seek people who, among other skills and attributes, are able to demonstrate:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous warehouse/stores experience including but not limited to inwards/outwards stock handling, stock takes and service delivery.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, including working well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Commitment to health and safety policy and procedure.
- Great customer service skills and an ability to learn about the products you are working with.
- Being a person who is self-motivated and proactive.
- Competent at forklift operation handling a range of items (F & OSH required)
- This role requires some manual handling and heavy lifting.
