We’re seeking a capable Designer Estimator to join our planning team based in Cromwell. This role plays a key part in supporting distribution works by developing well-considered designs and commercially sound offers. You’ll work closely with planning, field and management teams to ensure work is scoped correctly from the outset. Your contribution will directly support safe, efficient and timely project delivery.

You’ll be responsible for producing detailed, build-ready network designs that align with customer and network requirements. The role involves coordinating inputs, reviewing constructability, and preparing planning documentation to agreed standards. You’ll also support internal stakeholders by responding to design and scope queries throughout the lifecycle of the work. A proactive, solutions-focused approach will be key to success.

If you hold electrical registration as a Line Mechanic, Cable Jointer or Electrician, along with extensive Electricity Supply Industry experience, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll bring proven capability in network design, pricing and estimating, with a solid understanding of distribution standards, regulations and commercial requirements.
