Delta is recruiting for an EWRB-qualified Distribution Line Mechanic or Electrician with proven experience working on a distribution network. Based in Murchison, you’ll play a key role in keeping the power on! The role includes constructing and maintaining pole structures, overhead conductors and ground or structure-mounted electrical equipment, as well as fault response in the local area.
This is a full-time, permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime paid at Tx1.5 after 40 hours.

Known for your tidy, methodical work and strong communication skills, you’re equally confident working independently or as part of a crew. Reliability, organisation, and a solid commitment to health, safety, and attendance are all part of your professional DNA.
What you need to succeed:
- Full Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Registration and current Practicing License as an Electrician or Distribution Line Mechanic.
- Full Class 1 New Zealand driver’s license.
- 3+ years' experience.
- Experience with overhead and underground distribution assets.
- HV experience.
