Are you passionate about sports and enjoy working outdoors? We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated turf team in Dunedin!

This hands-on role involves maintaining sports fields and amenity areas across the Dunedin region. You’ll also contribute to the upkeep of some of New Zealand’s most iconic facilities, including:

• NZ’s only covered stadium
• Artificial turfs
• An international athletics ground
• Various high-profile contracts and public spaces

What We’re Looking For:

We’re after someone who brings energy, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Whether you have experience in sports turf maintenance or simply a passion for sports and practical outdoor work, we want to hear from you!

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Are a proactive problem solver and team player
• Can work independently and take initiative
• Have tidy, methodical work habits
• Communicate clearly and work well with others
• Have a strong Health & Safety focus and excellent attendance

Skills & Qualifications To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• A full, clean Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 and/or WTR endorsements a bonus)
• Practical skills in gardening, grounds, or facilities maintenance
• Experience with mowing equipment and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting
• A National Certificate in Sports Turf Management (Level 3 or higher) – desirable but not essential
• Grow safe Certificate – desirable but not essential
