We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Arborist or Utility Arborist to join our Tree Services team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Dunedin, with occasional travel across the South Island.

• Solves problems proactively and efficiently
• Can meet the physical demands of arborist work
• Maintains tidy, methodical work practices
• Works well independently and takes initiative
• Communicates clearly and is well-organized
• Has a strong attendance record and prioritizes health and safety

Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Level 4 Arborist and/or Level 3 Utility Arborist qualification (or working towards it)
• A strong focus on health and safety—for yourself and your team
• The ability to work solo or collaboratively
• Good geographical knowledge of the Otago/South Island region
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills
• Flexibility and reliability
• A clean driver’s license (Class 2 preferred)

Role Details

• Hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime paid at time and a half
• Location: Dunedin, Otago – travel within the South Island may be required
• Type: Full-time, permanent
