Reporting to the Contract Manager, this role involves leading the planning and delivery of clean-up operations within Delta’s vegetation management services for Orion, including arborist duties, operating Class 2 vehicles and implementing on-site Temporary Traffic Management (TTM).
This role demands strong leadership and administrative capabilities, including coordinating tasks and schedules, maintain and regularly update Deltas internal systems to accurately track progress, support reporting and maintaining professional relationships with the local council and Delta staff.

What you need to succeed: - 2 + years’ experience in an arboriculture role OR a New Zealand Certificate in Arboriculture (Level 4)
- STMS Cat A and B (onsite TTM setups)
- Experience leading a team and administration duties
- Valid Class 2 New Zealand driver's license.
- Experience with climber and Chipping of brushwood
- Experience operating Arboriculture plant and equipment
About the role: - This is a full-time, permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Overtime is paid after 40 hours at a rate of time and a half.
- The wage range for this role is $30.00-$33.00/hour (gross) - dependent upon qualifications and experience.
- This role is primarily based in Christchurch, Canterbury, in the South Island of New Zealand.
