We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our professional working at the University Oval. Your role will be maintaining sportsfields in the Dunedin area . We also deliver community, domestic and international cricket/sporting events. We also have a diverse contract maintaining New Zealand's only covered stadium, artificial turfs, international athletics ground and amenity areas.

The successful candidate will have experience in sportsfields work and specialising in cricket wicket preparation, a passion for sports and a friendly and approachable demeanor. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

What you need to succeed:

• A current and clean full clean drivers’ licence – class 2 and / or WTR would be advantageous.
• A good range of practical skills in areas such as gardening, grounds, and facilities maintenance
• Competence with mowing equipment, chainsaws and other power tools
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work both in a team and independently
• Proven experience in Turf and Sports field Management with an understanding of Cricket pitch and sportsground preparation. 
• National Certificate in Sports Turf Management level 3 or higher
• Growsafe Certificate desirable
