We are currently looking for an Environmental Construction Worker to join our Cromwell Greenspace team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves operating machinery, manual labouring duties, as well as gardening, mowing and weed control. This is a great opportunity for someone to get involved with a range of interesting works in the area and who will gain real satisfaction from their contributions.
General maintenance of heavy machinery will also be required as part of the role.
About you:
- Experience in driving heavy combination vehicles as well as experience in tipping, spreading and transportation of heavy equipment
- National certificate in Horticulture Level 3 desirable but not essential
- Class 1 drivers licence essential, Class 2 desirable but not essential (current and clean) and WTR endorsements preferred
- Mechanically minded and physically fit
- Punctual, reliable and able to meet strict timeframes
- Team player and has the ability to adapt in different work environments
- Able to follow instructions and has a demonstrated health and safety approach
- Has the ability to be flexible, as additional hours may be required
