You’ll support Field and Project Managers by coordinating construction, maintenance, and fault response work—ensuring tasks are done safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. About the role:

• This is a full-time, permanent role working a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Overtime is paid after 40 hours at a rate of time and a half
• The wage range for this role is $49-$55/hour (gross) - commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
• This role is primarily based in Queenstown, Central Otago, South Island of New Zealand.

Qualifications, skills & experience requirements:

• Full Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Registration and current Practicing License as a Line Mechanic.
• Full Class 1 New Zealand driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working on overhead distribution assets in the electricity industry.
• Experience with both de-energised and live line work up to 1000V.
• Familiarity with HV switching procedures and network fault response.
• Competent in the use of plant and equipment such as truck-mounted cranes and elevated work platforms.
• Demonstrated understanding of industry safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Experience working in a range of environments, including rural and extreme weather conditions.
