THE OPPORTUNITY 
  
We are seeking an experienced and driven Logistics & Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at Lotte Duty Free, based primarily at Melbourne Airport. Reporting to the Compliance & Loss Prevention Manager, you will be the on-the-ground lead for our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations, overseeing stock movement, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring our supply chain runs efficiently and compliantly. 
  
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and knows how to hold a 3PL provider to account. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular on-site supervision at the 3PL warehouse, monitoring inbound, picking, packing, and outbound operations 
• Act as the primary liaison between retail stores and the warehouse to ensure clear and timely communication 
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions 
• Monitor 3PL KPIs and SLA adherence; prepare and lead weekly and monthly performance reviews 
• Oversee inbound shipment verification including Bills of Lading, packing lists, and physical stock checks 

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or inventory control role, ideally in a supervisory or coordination capacity 
• Hands-on experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) 
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills  
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across stores, warehouse teams, and 3PL providers 
• Retail or duty-free industry experience highly regarded
