ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, confident and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead, develop and inspire our compliance team across our retail locations. Reporting to the General Manager – Retail, this role is responsible for ensuring Lotte Duty Free operates in line with legislative, security, and operational requirements while protecting company assets and minimising risk.
Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive experience in retail operations, loss prevention, and compliance, bringing a proactive and investigative approach to managing risk and solving problems.
  
 
YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Lead, support & develop the national compliance and loss prevention team
• Oversee compliance with Customs, Excise, and Aviation Security requirements
• Manage relationships with the Australian Border Force, airport authorities, and other regulatory bodies
• Monitor compliance for licensing, bonded goods, and secure site access
• Conduct investigations and provide training to reduce risk and prevent loss
• Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews across all sites
• Manage office and site security systems, including CCTV and alarms
• Report on compliance trends and operational risks

  
ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience of Inventory management strategy, stock loss & stocktake procedures
• Knowledge of retail compliance, customs, and aviation security
• Excellent investigative, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis
• High attention to detail and professional integrity
• Background in retail operations, loss prevention, or compliance preferred
• Experience managing teams across multiple sites highly regarded
