Business Analyst – Insurance Sector

As a Business Analyst experienced in the insurance sector, you'll play a key role in defining and implementing innovative software solutions that address user needs and align with market trends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and summarize market trends and user requirements to improve the software product offering, with a strong focus on broker management systems.
• Engage with users, broker federations, third-party software providers, and insurance companies to identify needs for enhancing current software and its integration within the insurance ecosystem.
• Translate requirements into functional features, balancing stakeholder priorities and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including functional/technical analysts and UX/UI designers, to define and implement these features effectively.
• Document features as user stories and review them with development teams to ensure successful implementation and testing.
• Organize proof of concepts or pilots with early adopters to gather feedback and validate solutions.
• Assist in planning and communicating new feature rollouts, ensuring they are well-understood and adopted by users.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the insurance sector.
• Ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders such as users, broker federations, third-party software providers, and insurance companies.
• Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into actionable items.
• Proficiency in French and Dutch, with a good understanding of English.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools like Jira.
• Experience working with insurance brokers, insurance companies, or Insurtech providers.
• Knowledge of broker management systems is a plus.
