We are offering an excellent opportunity for qualified environmental professionals to join as Environmental Advisors. This role is pivotal in helping the company achieve its vision of becoming a premier global gold producer within Tier 1 jurisdictions, in geographically advantageous locations. Currently, the company operates six sites across Australia and North America, with plans for further expansion.

The Location
This is a Residential Role, located in a vibrant community of Riverina Shire, New South Wales. With a local population of approx. 3000+ people, regional attractions include the Blue Mountain National Park, wineries & wine tours, and  the West Wyalong Wetlands is short drive away perfect for a family outing. The beautiful azure lake offers fantastic fishing and boating activities, with community sports clubs such as AFL, netball and rugby.

About The Role

As Environmental Advisor your role will include planning, coordination, interpretation and reporting of environmental monitoring activities, in accordance with the onsite legal and statutory governance.  

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development of budget and schedule for monitoring activities, and coordinating the activities of contractors.
• Ensuring program and data entegrity of the QA/QC program.
• Preparation of monitoring reports and participating in the development & implementation of rehabilitation, biodiversity offets and EOM remediation strategies.
• Coordinating contractors and consultants for annual/quarterly/and bi-annual reporting activities.
• Prepare site management plans, procedures and Safe Work Instructions. 
• Upholding the Company's Sustainable practices to target Net Zero goals.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Biology or Environmental Engineering 
• Recognised competency in Water Management, Waste Management, Incident Investigation, and Environmental Monitoring Program within resources sector
• Demonstrated experience within environmental monitoring, field assessment, data management and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• Strong report writing and presentation skills 
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills
• Confident team player with the ability to work autonomously 
• Current or eligibility to obtain NSW Boat Licence
• Current or eligibility to obtain NSW A Class Drivers Licence
