Pacific People Solutions, on behalf of our client, have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) Analyst. Our client is a global mining organisation and the role is based in the Sydney CBD office.
  
Reporting into the General Manager HSEC you will have responsibility for development, communication, execution and continuous improvement of HSEC activities across specific mining operations in Australia, South Africa and South America.
  
This role will include domestic and international travel, restrictions allowing.
  
Key responsibilities will include:

• Collating and analyzing HSCE data and provide corporate reporting.
• Assisting with development and design of system documents and tools for improvement.
• Providing support to department HSEC team to achieve business goals.
• Effective planning & review project timelines to achieve common goals.
• Monitor systems and business processes applicable to the role and identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a HSEC Risk Management Framework including any critical risks.
• Track the close out of corrective actions from head office corporate HSEC in relation to audits.
• Manage internal and external global asset HSEC reporting requirements.

  
The Successful applicant will have:

• Tertiary Qualification/s in /OHS and or Science is desirable
• Demonstrated operations experience (preferably over 4 years) in a reporting role including HSEC.
• Efficient in corporate report writing to a senior level of executives,
• Experience with design and development of reporting tools
• Advanced MS Office skills to meet the requirements of the corporate environment for reporting.
• Strong relationship building skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, highly pro-active and resilient approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated capabilities in problem solving and strong analytics complemented by effectiveness in influencing and negotiating with internal management and external stakeholders.
• Experience in reviewing analytics and integrating data and reviewing for consistent trends.
• Thorough understanding of HSEC systems and processes.
