Our client, Cornerstone Migration Australia, is a specialist migration law practice seeking an experienced Migration Agent or Lawyer to join its team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work within a regulated legal environment, advising clients on complex migration matters and managing cases through to resolution. The successful candidate will bring either MARA registration or legal qualifications with demonstrated migration law experience, and will contribute to the firm's reputation for thorough, client-focused advice.
Advise clients on migration law matters, including visa applications, compliance, and strategic planning
Manage a portfolio of cases with autonomy and accountability in a regulated legal environment
Permanent position with scope to develop expertise and build client relationships within a specialist practice
Preferred Requirements
Current MARA registration as a migration agent, or admission as a lawyer with migration law experience
Demonstrated experience advising on Australian migration law and visa categories
Strong client communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
Proficiency with case management systems and legal documentation standards
Sound understanding of compliance obligations and professional conduct requirements in migration law
Preferred Qualifications
MARA registration, or admission to practise as a lawyer in Australia with current practising certificate
Formal qualification in migration law or post-graduate study in immigration and citizenship law
Professional indemnity insurance or eligibility to obtain it
