Boronia Goodfellas is looking for an experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen team at Brisbane Airport.
We are a high-volume venue serving both dine-in and takeaway customers, with busy trading periods linked to airport passenger traffic and flight schedules. Our kitchen prepares meals on-site using fresh ingredients and requires a reliable Cook who can work efficiently under pressure.
About the role The position includes:

• preparing ingredients and daily mise en place
• cooking meals across different kitchen sections
• grilling, frying, baking, roasting, steaming and sautéing
• preparing sauces, marinades, stocks, batters and other kitchen components
• maintaining consistent portion sizes, presentation and quality
• following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
• assisting with stock rotation, deliveries and kitchen organisation
• keeping work areas, equipment and storage areas clean
• supporting the Head Chef, kitchen team and junior staff
• working across weekdays, weekends and public holidays as rostered

What we are looking for Applicants should have:

• experience working as a Cook in a busy commercial kitchen
• strong food preparation and cooking skills
• the ability to work across multiple kitchen sections
• good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• the ability to work quickly and accurately during busy service periods
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
• flexibility to work early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays

Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Food Safety Supervisor certification will be highly regarded.
