Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Retention

• Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients across Home, Motor, Travel, and associated products.
• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, new business enquiries, and general client queries.
• Provide clear, compliant advice tailored to client needs.
• Maintain high retention levels through proactive engagement and excellent service.

Sales & Growth

• Convert inbound enquiries into new business opportunities.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across the personal lines suite.
• Confidently discuss cover options, features, and benefits to support client decision‑making.
• Work to agreed sales and retention targets.

Technical & Compliance

• Accurately assess risk information and ensure correct rating and documentation.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive cover.
• Ensure all activity is compliant with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records on the broking system.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth client journeys.
• Support the wider team during busy periods and contribute to a positive working environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in a Personal Lines broking or underwriting environment.
• Strong sales capability with a track record of converting enquiries and retaining clients.
• Solid technical understanding of Home, Motor, and related personal lines products.
• Confident communicator.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

Desirable

• Progress towards Cert CII (or willingness to study).
• Experience using Acturis or similar broking platforms.
• Exposure to high‑net‑worth personal lines (not essential).
