A leading UK insurance broker with a strong presence across commercial lines, known for its client-centric approach and technical claims expertise. The firm supports a diverse portfolio of Claims including EL/PL, Property, Cyber, Business Interruption, Management Liability, PI, etc.
 
A key objective of this role is to manage and resolve commercial insurance claims efficiently and empathetically, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients while maintaining insurer relationships and compliance standards.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end claims across commercial lines (e.g. property, liability, cyber, business interruption, etc). Also be a key contact dealing with major & complex claims.
• Regularly liaise with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and claims advocacy to clients, ensuring clarity and support throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA and company standards
• Analyse claims data, identify trends and develop strategies to mitigate risk and create reports, reduce claim frequency and improve overall claims management processes
• Remain well-informed on industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies to drive innovation and make better informed decisions
• Support, mentor and guide claims handlers and more junior members of the team.

Relevant Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in commercial claims handling (broker or insurer side)
• Strong knowledge of UK insurance market practices and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong client relationship management experience (vital)
• Ability to manage multiple complex claims and stakeholders under pressure
• Familiarity with Acturis or similar broking platforms (preferred)
