Our Client is looking for an experienced Loss Adjuster to deal with complex Engineering & Construction claims across the South of England. This is a high-impact role managing major losses, site investigations, and stakeholder relationships across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, plant, machinery, and construction-related risks.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead investigations into high-value engineering and construction claims, including machinery breakdown, structural failures, site incidents, etc.
• Conduct detailed site visits
• Prepare comprehensive reports for insurers, reinsurers, and legal teams
• Collaborate with brokers, contractors, surveyors to drive resolution
• Manage multiple claims concurrently, ensuring compliance with regulatory
• Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to technical development across the team
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, building codes, and engineering standards

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in loss adjusting within engineering, construction, or technical claims
• Strong understanding of contractor's all risks (CAR), plant & equipment, and engineering policies
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and report-writing skills
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites and managing complex cases
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. ACII, CILA, or engineering degree) desirable
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England
