As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving growth across the Company's portfolio of services. You'll identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and expand the firm's footprint in specialist insurance markets.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition & Growth
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across target sectors (e.g. construction, renewables, agriculture, etc).
• Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Relationship Management
• Build and nurture relationships with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
• Strategic Development
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine service offerings and tailor solutions to client needs.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform business strategy.
• Reporting & Analysis
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and performance metrics.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on progress and market trends.

Skills & Experience
Essential:

• Proven track record in business development within insurance, claims management, or technical services.
• Strong understanding of UK insurance market and specialist sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience working with MGAs, Lloyd's syndicates, or specialist brokers.
• Familiarity with salvage, valuation, or fraud screening services.
• CII or equivalent insurance qualification.
