Development Chemist

Permanent position 

Our NW based client develop and manufacture a range of chemicals, they are currently recruiting for a Development Chemist 

This is a hands on role and will involve developing new products for a variety of applications on a project basis

Additional responsibilities will include :-

• Understanding a range of existing product formulations and additives available to enhance the performance of improved / modified formulations
• Managing multiple product development projects at any one time 
• Developing / utilising test methods, devising appropriate tests as appropriate 
• Understanding key regulatory guidelines and ensuring products are formulated products are compliant 
• Writing technical reports, updating formulations / processes
• Liaising with key technical teams onsite 

Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc / MSc / PhD in Chemistry (or related subject) together with proven demonstrable skills and experience with surfactant / additive based formulations

This is a permanent opportunity , offering an attractive salary depending on skills and experience
