Our NW based client is actively looking to recruit a Laboratory Manager to support a busy chromatography / analytical laboratory testing a range of synthetic compounds.
Duties for this role will include

• Maintaining and troubleshooting HPLC / UPLC and GC-MS instrumentation ensuring readiness for others to use
• Preparing solutions, mobile phases, equipment for use
• Calibrating and validating laboratory equipment
• Co-ordinating / ordering consumables / shipping samples to customers
• Liaising with the wider scientific team to ensure schedules are maintained and up to date

Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc in Chemistry (or related subject) together with suitable Laboratory Management experience, working with LC / GC instrumentation in an organic chemistry environment

This is a permanent opportunity offering an attractive salary (depending on skills and experience)
