About the Role
We are looking for experienced support workers to work in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. The individuals we support have various intellectual, physical, and sometimes challenging behaviours. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking permanent part-time employment to join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care and support.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities and personal hygiene
• Manual Handling/Hoisting: Providing physical support as needed
• Domestic Duties: Ensuring a clean and safe living environment
• Meal Preparation: Assisting with or preparing meals
• Medical Assistance: Providing support in unplanned or emergency medical situations

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience: Disability Sector experience or lived experience providing disability support
• Licenses: Current driver’s license and registered vehicle
• Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Screening: NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy, and smartphone proficiency
