About The Role: 

My Gateway has multiple exciting opportunities for anyone looking to start or continue their careers in this Unique Industry. As part of this Traineeship you will complete a Certificate III in Irrigation Technology. These roles are for someone who wants to work outdoors, get their hands dirty & work for a Leading Irrigation Company!

Your duties may include:

• Installing Dripline, Piping & Valves
• Installing wiring/cabling
• Install controllers
• Install and program battery timers
• Install, wire up and test standard controllers
• Flush lines
• Install and adjust sprinkler heads
• Pressure testing
• Fit up tanks and pumps (basic systems)
• Install pump controller systems (basic systems)
• Use technology to communicate and organise work
• Support others and work well as part of a team
• Maintain and organise tools
• Safely use power tools, including grinders, drills and welders
• Gain a thorough knowledge of irrigation products, for installing systems and problem solving.

Must have:

• White card and Drivers Licence with own vehicle
• Be prepared for all outdoor, physical work
• Must have a good positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
• Be able to work in all areas of Sydney
• Commit to a 2 year Traineeship
• Be prepared to work Overtime when necessary
