My Gateway is currently searching for enthusiastic and reliable 1st, 2nd and 3rd year carpentry apprentices for various clients in the Macarthur and Western Sydney areas. As part of these apprenticeships, you will complete a nationally recognised qualification Certificate III in Carpentry. In these roles, you could be working on sites all over the Greater Sydney area, on residential or commercial builds in the private and public sectors.

Job tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Use hand and power tools: saws, drills, nail guns, chisels, drop saws, planers, etc.
• Erect, cut, construct, install and assemble timber or steel components and structures.
• Measuring, cutting and assembling materials.
• Reading plans.
• Laying floors.
• Erecting frames and trusses.
• Fitting windows and doors.
• Internal and external linings.
• General labouring and clean up of sites.

To be considered for the role, applicants must have:

• White Card.
• Current driver's licence and own vehicle. 
• The ability to work in a team.
• An eagerness to learn.
• A readiness to travel.
