About My Gateway: My Gateway has been employing apprentices and trainees across NSW for over 30 years. With over 300 apprentices and trainees currently employed in all areas from business administration, information technology to construction, electrical, horticulture, heavy vehicle and engineering roles, My Gateway is a safe and secure way to ensure that you will be provided with the correct pay, necessary training, qualifications and ongoing support throughout your traineeship/apprenticeship.
My Gateway currently has two clients with a exciting positions available for anyone looking to start their apprenticeship as a Fitter Machinist. Working with highly experienced tradesmen your responsibilities will include:
Operation of CNC lathes & mills
Troubleshooting & repairs to a range of mechanical equipment
Working from engineering drawings
maintenance and repairs of mechanical tools
Use of hand and power tools
Repairing and maintaining of high speed plastic mound injection machines.
Repairing and maintaining hopper conveyors and press machines.
Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying of mechanical equipment across the plant.
Working from and interpreting drawings.
