Security Officer | Westfield West Lakes, Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza
We are currently seeking reliable and licensed Security Officers to join our team on a casual basis across South Australia. These opportunities offer genuine pathways to permanent roles for high-performing officers.
Opportunities are available across Westfield West Lakes, Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza. Officers are generally rostered at the centre closest to home or most suitable where possible, while supporting a fast-paced retail environment within some of SA’s leading shopping destinations.
About the Role As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining safety and supporting daily operations across these dynamic centres, assisting customers, managing incidents, and working closely with center management and emergency services to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all.
Key responsibilities include: - Providing professional and friendly front-line customer service
- Responding to medical, emergency and security-related incidents
- Monitoring safety risks and reporting hazards or suspicious activity
- Supporting centre operations through crowd management and conflict de-escalation
- Assisting with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols
What You'll Need - Current SA Security Licence with Crowd Control function
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- High standard of presentation and professionalism
