Trident Services Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Training Manager – Cairns Airport to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contact
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the coordination, programming, and delivery of aviation security training to TSP staff across Cairns Airport.
You will ensure all training and qualification requirements are met in line with relevant legislation, Trident’s Integrated Management System, and contractual obligations.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent (highly regarded).

  
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver aviation security training programs for TSP staff at multiple airport locations.
• Ensure all training activities comply with legislative and contractual requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure staff qualifications are current.
• Collaborate with airport management and other stakeholders to assess training needs and develop appropriate programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training delivery and implement improvements as required.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and company policies.

  
About You

• Demonstrated experience in training coordination and delivery, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Strong knowledge of aviation security regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent (highly regarded).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to obtain ASIC Card.
