We are currently seeking reliable and licensed Security Officers to join our team on a casual basis. These opportunities have the potential to progress into permanent roles.

As a Security Officer at Westfield Chermside, one of Australia's largest shopping centres and Queensland's premier retail destinations, you will bring your experience to a fast paced, high profile retail environment.

You will play a key role in maintaining safety and supporting daily operations across this dynamic centre, assisting customers, managing incidents, and working closely with centre management and emergency services.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering high-quality, front-line customer service
Responding to incidents, including medical and emergency situations
Monitoring safety risks and completing incident reporting
Assisting with crowd management and de-escalation
Supporting centre operations and emergency response procedures

What you'll need:

Current QLD Security Licence (including Crowd Control function)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
High standard of personal presentation and a customer-focused attitude
