Key Account Manager – Trident Services Security

Trident Services is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead the delivery of aviation security services within a Last Point of Detection (LPOD) operating environment across multiple major Australian airports.
This senior role holds accountability for contract performance, compliance, governance, and client engagement in a highly regulated aviation security setting.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Aviation & Maritime Security, you will act as Trident’s senior operational and client-facing representative, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performing security services aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements.
About the role
You will be responsible for:

• Leading and overseeing aviation security service delivery across LPOD sites
• Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of escalation
• Ensuring compliance with aviation security, regulatory, WHS, and contractual obligations
• Providing leadership and direction to multi-site management teams
• Driving operational performance, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation
• Overseeing governance, reporting, and assurance processes
• Managing commercial performance, cost control, and service efficiency

About you
You will bring:

• Senior management experience in aviation operations, security, or a highly regulated environment
• Strong understanding or aviation security frameworks
• Proven experience managing complex contracts and client relationships
• Demonstrated ability to lead dispersed, multi-site teams
• Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
• Sound commercial judgement and decision-making capability

Qualifications & requirements

• Business or Project Management qualification, or equivalent experience
• ASIC (or ability to obtain)
• Security licence (or ability to obtain)
• Strong capability in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
