Security Officers | Capalaba Central

We are currently seeking Part-Time, Full-Time, and Casual Retail Security Officers to join our team.

Part-time and full-time roles are based at Capalaba Central, while casual opportunities provide work across multiple retail sites.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure safety
• Patrol retail areas and monitor CCTV for suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations
• Apply First Aid and CPR when required
• Manage access to restricted areas and loading docks
• Handle conflicts calmly using de-escalation techniques
• Prepare accurate incident reports and security logs

What we’re looking for:

• Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control Function
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional presentation and high integrity
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work across a retail trading roster
• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (preferred for casual roles)

Available roles & rosters: Part-Time Positions (Capalaba Central – set roster)

• Thursday & Sunday: 1800–0130
• Friday & Saturday: 1930–0130

Full-Time Position (Capalaba Central – two-week rotating roster)
Week 1:

• Monday, Tuesday & Sunday: 0730–1800
• Friday & Saturday: 0730–1930

Week 2:

• Wednesday & Thursday: 0730–1800

Casual Opportunities (Multiple Sites)
Casual officers will support operations across retail centres including, but not limited to:

• Cleveland Central
• Victoria Point
• Capalaba Central
• Capalaba Park

Shifts and sites will vary based on operational requirements, officer availability and location.
