Part-Time Security Officer | Kawana Shoppingworld
 
We’re currently seeking qualified Security Officers to join our growing team at Kawana Shoppingworld. You’ll be part of a frontline team providing safety and support in a dynamic retail setting.

This position is Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 0600–1400, with additional hours available across multiple Sunshine Coast sites for those wanting more work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with directions, questions, and general support.
• Patrol the centre to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond quickly to medical incidents, safety issues, or disturbances.
• Use calm communication to resolve conflicts and manage difficult situations.
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports and handovers.
• Communicate with centre management, team members, retailers, and emergency services when required.
• Follow all site procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current First Aid & CPR certificates
• Valid QLD Security and Crowd Control licenses
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility for a rotating 24/7 roster
• High standards of integrity, presentation, and professionalism
• Experience in regulated environments and outcome-focused work
