Regional Security Manager

Trident Services Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Security Manager to lead our security teams and site supervisors across multiple premier retail properties in the Brisbane region.

This is a dynamic leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring best-practice service delivery in safety, security, and customer service. You will be the primary point of contact for client engagement and contract compliance, playing a key role in maintaining strong relationships and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Security – Retail and Commercial on all security and safety matters.
• Lead and support Security Site Supervisors and teams across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, emergency protocols, and client policies.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Manage rosters, time and attendance systems, and budgets for efficient service delivery.
• Conduct audits, training, and mentoring—including onboarding and inductions.
• Oversee staff performance, corrective actions, and development plans.
• Coordinate training programs to maintain high standards and compliance.
• Prepare and submit reports for Trident and clients.
• Build strong relationships with centre management, emergency services, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
• Contribute to governance, strategy, and innovation initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to security and safety procedures.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the security industry.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting operational goals and KPIs.
• Sound knowledge of security practices, emergency procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Competence in security-related technology and systems.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong decision-making skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Class 2 QLD Security Licence (Security Officer – Unarmed, Crowd Controller, Monitoring).
• Valid Senior First Aid & CPR Certificate (issued by a registered training organisation).
• Open Class C Driver Licence.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
